Greg Latham
In-House Counsel

Greg Latham has more than a decade of experience practicing law, with business concentrations in intellectual property, communications, and the litigation of matters related to those areas.  Mr. Latham has provided legal representation in a myriad of copyright, licensing, trade secret, and trademark infringement lawsuits involving well-known performing artists, business brands and labels. He has also represented a manufacturer in trademark, design patent and utility patent infringement suits filed in multiple jurisdictions, including a foreign venue.

Mr. Latham is a member of the American Bar Association (Antitrust Law and Intellectual Property Law Sections), the Federal Bar Association (Intellectual Property & Communications Law Section), and the Louisiana State Bar Association, serving as Chairman of the LSBA Intellectual Property Section, 2005-2006, and an officer 2002-2006.
 

As a partner at Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere & Denegre, L.L.P., Mr. Latham represented respondents in Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution (UDRP) proceedings and matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).  He has been published in the Fifth Circuit Intellectual Property Technology Law Quarterly update, Firth Circuit Reporter, 1999-2000 (6 Editions) and the 1999 Annual Survey of Louisiana Civil Law, 1999 Louisiana State Bar Association’s Annual Survey of Louisiana Law.

Mr. Latham holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology, with a Minor in Engineering (Computer Science Curriculum), and completed his J.D., graduating cum laude and serving on Tulane’s Moot Court Board.
