When a disaster strikes, IEM delivers experienced personnel for on-site operational and technical support for any size and duration of response operation. The experienced IEM Response Team—supplemented by a Rapid Reserve™ of more than 600 homeland security and emergency management associates—can be deployed quickly, providing operational and technical support that smoothly scales to the uniqueness of each situation.

Nationwide deployment and staffing.

IEM has been called upon to provide support staff for hundreds of positions in Joint Field Offices and Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) across the nation. IEM response professionals have first-hand disaster support experience—including field and EOC deployments for hurricanes Frances, Ivan, Katrina, Rita, Gustav, and Ike. In addition, IEM personnel staff permanent EOCs for the U.S. Army and have staffed operations centers for multiple Federal agencies.

Air operations and ground support.

IEM has special expertise in air operations planning and support, including pre- and post-event ground operations support for air evacuations. IEM provided ground support for the evacuation of 5,000 people from New Orleans for Hurricane Gustav.
