Requirements Analysis and Development
In requirements analysis projects, IEM works from all perspectives—tactical, operational, and strategic—while ensuring that requirements meet approved methods of generation, justification, and formatting. We understand and have provided research and gap-analysis support to the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process.
Experience drives qualifications.
IEM also possesses the ability to analyze requirements on technical merits. Our professionals have concept and integration experience, equipping them with the necessary skills to quickly evaluate requirements and provide accurate feedback on standard DoD workflow components—from functional area, needs and solution analyses to capabilities development and production documents to organizational plans and concepts in support of installation force protection.
Helping identify best practices, standards.
IEM personnel participate in organizations and sit on governance boards that identify best practices and set standards related to U.S. defense concerns and homeland security issues. These IEM subject matter experts, particularly in the area of CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive), bring additional value to missions associated with requirements analysis and development. For example, IEM has helped develop regulatory requirements that address civilian assistance to military authorities in response to emergency situations (natural or manmade) at and around military installations.
