Instructional Support
IEM’s approach to developing instructional support utilizes the five-step process put forth in U.S. Army TRADOC Regulation 350-70, the document that delineates the Army’s training strategy and approach. This Systems Approach to Training (SAT) encompasses Planning, Preparing, Executing, Assessing, and Retraining. In preparing effective platform instruction, IEM also incorporates our own proven methodology, carefully considering the target audience, training materials, time, and delivery.
Successful training on complex technologies.
IEM's technical experts understand the science and theory behind extremely complex technologies. And their talent for breaking down complicated subjects into teachable components is extraordinary. We have successfully trained government and military personnel on complex tools and concepts like atmospheric dispersion of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), and on topics as diverse as standards compliancy, effective communications and public relations, evacuation modeling, and how to use sophisticated software applications.
Active participation for functional knowledge.
Our mature training development processes allow us to design and produce, under short suspense, accurate educational materials on behalf of our clients. Furthermore, rather than just transferring information, IEM's instruction is designed to ensure that students actively participate in developing functional knowledge. Just as importantly, our instructors have the operational experience to translate this understanding to audiences of varying backgrounds.
