ACTDs, Testing, and Evaluation
Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations (ACTDs) help military leaders, in a relatively short period of time, assess the potential and develop the doctrine, concept of operations (CONOPS), and tactics that will be associated with new technologies, even prior to their acquisition.
IEM understands the value in reducing both operational risk and acquisition cycle time, and has successfully supported ACTDs in a variety of areas, from literature reviews and analyses to materiel evaluations, to training and exercises. We've also developed, tested, and fielded modeling and simulation and other software technology solutions to enhance situational awareness in responding to all-hazard threats, including chemical and biological.
Testing to ensure integrity.
IEM’s defense sector subject matter experts (SMEs) work side-by-side with our dedicated staff of software architects, software engineers, database developers, and system administrators for a results-oriented approach to software and systems development. We maintain a separate technical division dedicated to business process analysis and software quality assurance. And, in conformance with industry best practices, all IEM test activities are overseen by dedicated, experienced testers, who are not programmers or personnel from other disciplines wearing a second hat.
