IEM’s office is in the Crystal City area of Arlington, just across the Potomac River from our nation’s capital and near Reagan International Airport.
From the Metro—Below Ground Directions:
Come up the escalator at the Crystal City Metro to the first platform and enter the doors to the right (towards VRE). This will take you into the underground shopping center. Pass by about 10 shops on either side (Dunkin’ Donuts on the left and Sabarro Pizza on the right) and then come to an area where you must go left or right past the AVON store. There is Auntie Annie’s Pretzels in front of you to the left corner. Take a half-left and an immediate right (at Auntie Annie’s). You will be in a small corridor with a Wachovia ATM and some small shops. Follow the narrow corridor past the shops (Sleeping Beauty, As Seen on TV, Dollar Store) until it Ts. Take a left.
Follow the corridor towards 12th street (you will also see signs hanging overhead that read Gateway (North)/12th street). This will take you into a wide corridor walkway with no shops. There is a gradual incline towards the end of the corridor. At the top of the incline there will be an ATM machine and Crystal City map in front of you. Take a left at this point and follow the corridor to the very end. You will pass Anna’s Gateway Deli on the right, and Quizno’s Subs on the left. Keep following the corridor to the right. At the end, near Charles Smith Realties, go out the double doors, down the steps, and across the crosswalk. Our building is right in front of you (Crystal Gateway North). Enter the front of the building and go to the bank of elevators to your left. IEM office is Suite 700.
From the Metro—Above Ground Directions:
Come up the escalator at the Crystal City Metro to the 2nd platform outside, go to your right turning 180 degrees from the direction you came up the escalator. Go to the street and turn left. Follow the walkway to 15th Street. Continue North by crossing 15th Street (no crosswalk, but everyone crosses there). There is a walkway on the far side. Continue North on sidewalk. There will be a crosswalk at South Clark Street (JP2). Cross over and continue on to the left. Walk to the traffic light at the corner of 12th Street and South Clark Street. Cross 12th and our building is on the Northeast corner to your right (Crystal Gateway North). Enter the front of the building and go to the bank of elevators to your left. IEM office is Suite 700.
From Reagan International Airport:
Follow VA-233 to the Crystal Drive ramp on your right. Crystal Drive is a one-way street headed north, and it will lead you into the northern portion of Crystal City where it transitions into 12th Street. From Crystal Drive, turn right onto Old Jefferson Davis Highway. IEM’s office is on the corner of 12th Street and Old Jefferson Davis Highway. Enter the front of the building and go to the bank of elevators to your left. IEM office is Suite 700. Garage and metered street parking is available.
From Route 395 North:
Take Route 395 North to Exit 9 towards National Airport (US-Route 1 South)/Crystal City/Pentagon City. Take a left onto Army Navy Drive. Go through two traffic lights and at the next stop sign, turn left. Proceed through the traffic light, and IEM’s office is the first building on the left. Enter the front of the building and go to the bank of elevators to your left. IEM office is Suite 700. Garage and metered street parking is available.
